From Factory to Destination: How Cigar Shipping Works

Once production, resting, quality control, and packaging are complete, your cigars are ready to leave the factory. But “ready to ship” does not simply mean putting the boxes on a truck. An international cigar shipment involves several connected stages: preparing the cargo, confirming shipping instructions, arranging transportation, preparing documentation, export clearance, international freight, import clearance, and final delivery. Understanding this process—and who is responsible for each part—helps prevent delays once the cigars are ready.
