Long Filler vs. Medium Filler Cigars
One of the most important differences between handmade cigars lies inside the cigar itself: the construction of the filler. At Intercigar, we manufacture two principal filler constructions: Long Filler — made with full-length tobacco leaves running through the cigar. Medium Filler, often referred to as a Cuban Sandwich — combining selected tobacco pieces with at least one full-length tobacco leaf. Both are handmade and use natural tobacco, but they are different constructions with different cost structures, blending possibilities, and commercial applications. Understanding that distinction is important when deciding what type of cigar you want to produce.
