Preparing Your Cigar Shipment

Once the cigars have been produced, rested, inspected, and packed into their finished retail packaging, the next step is to turn the completed order into a physical shipment. That means more than placing cigar boxes into cartons. The shipment needs to be packed securely, organized logically, counted accurately, identified clearly, and documented so that everyone involved—from Intercigar to the carrier and ultimately the receiving warehouse—is working with the same information. Good shipment preparation has a simple objective: What is physically packed should correspond exactly with what the shipping documents say was packed.
