Quality Control & Consistency

A handmade cigar is made from natural tobacco by skilled people. Both introduce variation. Leaves differ slightly in thickness, texture, moisture, strength, and elasticity. Tabaqueros differ in experience, technique, and feel. The objective of quality control is therefore not to make every cigar mechanically identical. It is to ensure that every cigar remains within the standards established for the approved product. At Intercigar, quality control is not simply a final inspection. It begins while the cigar is being made.
